Day 1
Seattle to LaConner
Your Tour Director will pick you up from the airport and we head north to the Skagit Valley and the pleasant town of LaConner, located on the Swinomish Channel, is a picturesque town nestled along the water with lovely views of boats docked at marinas, mountains in the distance and an array of fun shops and delicious eateries. Let’s toast to the first night of the trip with fellow travelers at a welcome reception for drinks and appetizers. (Reception)

Day 2
LaConner to Winthrop via North Cascades National Park
Today we head for the mountains. The North Cascades National Park is one of North America’s most remote and rugged landscapes. With stunning vistas and accessible trails, you’ll spend a full day in the mountains. Finish the day in Methow Valley town of Winthrop, with its boardwalks, unique shops and western charm; it offers a truly unforgettable experience. Saddle up for a drink at Washington State’s oldest saloon before dinner on your own. (Breakfast, Lunch, Reception)

Day 3
Winthrop to Walla Walla
This morning we make our way to the far Southeast of the state and explore the dramatic Columbia River Basin. Orchards and vineyards complete the expansive views as we stop in Washington’s apple capital, Wenatchee, and for lunch along the shores of the “Great River of the West.” Arrive in Walla Walla, a charming small town filled with world-class wine and the pastoral scenery of the Palouse region. Set in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, the Walla Walla Valley is known for the Oregon Trail and Native American history. The delightful main street downtown will entice you with shops, galleries, and the ever-present wine tasting rooms. (Breakfast, Lunch, Reception)

Day 4
Walla Walla
Today we explore wines of the Walla Walla Valley! Visit and taste at a west side winery, followed by lunch and more wine tasting at a south side winery. As we continue the day of wine on the south side, you will take a blending and production tour at a local winery. Learn how the winemakers have mastered the art of blending vintages and try it for yourself! You’ll get to take the bottle you blend home for bragging rights with your friends with your own label! Dinner on your own. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 5
Walla Walla
Visit the Whitman Mission national historic site where Marcus and Narcissa Whitman settled in the Walla Walla Valley. The Whitmans, for whom the Marcus Whitman Hotel and Whitman College are named, were missionaries who arrived via the Oregon Trail in the 1830s. They created an outpost where they became a refuge for other weary travelers making their way along the Oregon Trail, in which we will stand! With a world-class foundry located in Walla Walla, public art, galleries and sculptures are prominently displayed downtown and on the nearby Whitman College campus. This afternoon, enjoy free time to meander along Main Street for some ‘retail therapy’ and possibly more wine-tasting. Relish a multi-course winemaker’s dinner set amongst the vineyards where some of Walla Walla’s best vintners pair their wines with the city’s talented chefs’ culinary creations, all locally and seasonally sourced. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6
Fly home from Pasco or Walla Walla
Transfer to the airport for your flight home from either Pasco or Walla Walla. (Breakfast – *Availability of breakfast dependent upon flight times)
